Dr. Kanmani Telkar is an experienced breast surgeon with over a decade of expertise in managing breast cancer, benign breast conditions, and cosmetic breast procedures.

After completing her MBBS from JJM Medical College, Davangere, and pursuing an MS in General Surgery from JSS Medical College, Mysore, she further specialized in breast cancer diseases through a fellowship at RGUHS University, Bangalore, in collaboration with HCG Hospital.

Driven by a passion for advanced breast care, Dr. Kanmani moved to the UK to pursue an MCh degree in Oncoplastic and Reconstructive Breast Surgery at Wigan’s WWL Hospitals, a center renowned for its national breast cancer program that treats thousands of patients annually. Her training continued with the successful completion of the FEBS (European Board) accreditation in Breast Oncoplastic Surgery, underscoring her commitment to excellence in patient care.

With over a decade of clinical experience in esteemed national and international universities and top-tier hospitals like HCG Bangalore and Narayana Health Bangalore, Dr. Kanmani has established herself as a leading expert in breast cancer surgery.

She has performed over 1,000 breast procedures, showcasing proficiency in all levels of oncoplastic and reconstructive techniques. Her expertise includes comprehensive breast reconstruction (both implant and flap-based), excision of benign lesions, and cosmetic breast surgeries, including augmentation and reduction procedures.
